What is Bycatch?
Bycatch is a Chrome extension for recruitment teams. It flags candidates who work for companies on your off-limits list directly on their LinkedIn profile, so everyone on your team knows instantly who is hands-off, with no spreadsheet checking required.
What is an off-limits list?
An off-limits list (also called a hands-off list) is the set of companies a recruitment business has agreed not to source candidates from, typically current clients, former clients within a protection period, or other companies within your own group.
Can I integrate Bycatch with my existing systems?
Yes, Bycatch integrates seamlessly with LinkedIn, including the LinkedIn Recruiter product. Off-limits flags appear directly on candidate profiles as you browse.
Will it take me long to get started?
It only takes a minute to add our Chrome extension, enter some log-in details and invite your team. From there, you and your team can add your off-limits companies within LinkedIn itself or via your Bycatch dashboard. There is also a two-minute walkthrough video on our Getting Started page.
Can I share my off-limits list with the rest of my team or company?
Yes, this is the central feature of Bycatch. Within your Bycatch dashboard, you can invite your team via email with a few clicks. When anyone marks a company as off-limits, the whole team sees it instantly.
Will my personal data or off-limits list be shared with third parties?
No. Much like your CRM or ATS, we do not share, sell or disclose your confidential data to any third parties, unless required by law or as necessary to provide our services. We understand that your client list is highly confidential and it is treated as such.
Does Bycatch work for internal talent teams as well as agencies?
Yes. In-house talent acquisition teams use Bycatch to respect non-solicitation agreements with customers, partners, and group companies. The same off-limits flags apply, just to the companies you have agreed not to hire from.
How much does Bycatch cost?
